Alternate unilateral paralysis is a uncommon neurological disorder that manifests itself in the paralysis of one side of the system inside recurring episodes. A face, eye movement, & limbs might totally become paralysed. Either side may be affected, but only 1 side at once. Alternate unilateral paralysis ordinarily occurs prior even to quaternary years aged & might present within either the severe or the less severe form.

A less severe form has a good prognosis & is indicated by episodes occurring primarily when asleep, & potty typically become related to migraines. No neurologic impairment in that form of AH.

A severe form is indicated per common palsy, mental impairment, gait & balance impairment, excessive hidrosis, & changes inside blood heat. Seizures can also exist as present.

Drug therapy includes flunarizine, the ca channel blocker.
